WeatherGeek Pro is an application made for WeatherGeeks by WeatherGeeks. Unlike most other weather apps on the market, this one is specifically designed for professional users, serious weather hobbyists and meteorology students.

Choose weather maps for the continental United States, Canada and Alaska from the GFS (Global Forecasting System) model, the NAM (North American Mesoscale) model, the WRF (Weather Research and Forecasting) model, the SREF (Short Range Ensemble Forecast) model and the RUC (Rapid Update Cycle) model. You also have access to MOS (Model Output Statistics) tables.

Easily navigate through the maps by simply swiping your finger to advance or go backwards in time. You can also swipe your finger up and down to control which level of the atmosphere you are viewing. To see more detail for your area, easily zoom in and out on the maps by pinching or stretching. Drag your finger around on the map to scroll. Tap the play button to animate the maps and to see weather features progress in time.
Best of all, you have the ability to share all of these maps on popular social networking platforms like Facebook and Twitter with the tap of your finger.

**Minor bug fixes**

We listened to your suggestions and responded with our #1 most-requested feature! We have added the ability to jump directly to any model valid time period. No need to swipe or animate through all the images to get to the day or time you want to see. Simply click on the time bar to bring up a menu to choose the valid time you want. From there, you can animate forward or swipe left or right to change the time, or even swipe up or down to change the level. We also added other minor improvements to this release.

Loving this app! The amount of data and imagery is great. So much easier to use this app as opposed to trying to bring up the data in a browser. First off, there is no other app on the market like this now. That alone makes it worth buying. Second, this app not only does what it says it does, but does it quite well. Let me begin by coming clean. I am the creator of Instant Weather Maps Pro, a competing weather app. While many times you will see competitors giving 1-star reviews, I give a rating reflecting the true value of the app. This app, though not as comprehensive as my own (Instant Weather Maps Pro), is well-deserving of a 4-star rating.
