Chicago Weather by iMap gives you complete weather information including an incredible interactive radar and alerts for free. You will have the latest forecasts and reports on current conditions including the following:

Current conditions
7 Day Forecast
Hourly Forecast for the next 24 hours
Current temperature
High and low for the day
Wind Speed and direction
Humidity
Visibility
Barometric pressure
Dew point
Sunrise and Sunset
Barometer
7 Days Day Night Forecast

Through the interactive map the user can get the following:
Radar (Level 2)
Radar animation
Satellite
Ability to see watch and warning boxes overlayed on the map
These all Weather and animated Radars are obtained from NOAA.
Ability to change the base map

You can also save up to 5 locations, so you can monitor weather for multiple locations and view alerts for each of those locations.

This isn't Tom Skilling's WeatherCenter (2 stars)
I don't know what happened to this app. I'm thinking it was sold? In any event, when I updated today, the blogs were gone, as well as the Ask Tom feature. I found those a very enriching part of the app. I found his app again. Go to the App Store and search for WGN Weather. Download the app for WGN Continental Broadcasting. The radar on that app is not the same, but the Tom Skilling crew is on that app, not this one. I will likely delete th

Deleting! (1 star)
The only reason I used this app was for the Tom Skilling features. Those features are gone now, so I'm deleting this. The weather forecast aspect of this app is sub par so there is no reason to keep this.

AVOID (1 star)
One of the best aspects of this app was Tom's blog. I don't know who made the decision that it wasn't an important aspect, but they made a massive mistake. Ruined.
