Description

NetAdmin Toolbox is a small collection of useful network administrator tools.
This iPad App is a great tool for network administrators that do not want to waste valuable workstation/desktop space switching between console terminals, reference web pages and toolsets. Instead, the NetAdmin Toolbox will allow for mobility between an engineers desk to the catacombs of a data center.
ipCalc:
– Allows for easy input of target IPv4 Address/Network
– Simple slider that illustrates how a Subnet Mask functions
– Results are displayed in Decimal, Hexadecimal, and Binary (toggle button)
DNS Resolver:
– Allows for DNS resolution to IPv4 Address
– Results include a DNS Round Trip Time
– IPv6 not yet supported

Known issues:
DNS Resolver returns Round Trip Time with no address
-if the iPad is on an IPv6 network and targets an IPv6 DNS
