Description

This International Code Council Means of Egress Application is designed with one main goal in mind: making available the most relevant, practical and valuable information related to the design, application and regulation of means of egress components, in an easy-to-use digital format. It includes a section that automatically calculates Egress Formulas. The App also includes a section with 400 useful conversion and area calculations.
This App provides egress-related text, figures and tables from several ICC publications, including:
The 2009 International Building Code (IBC), Chapter 10, Means of Egress;
The related 2009 IBC Commentary for each code section;
Significant Changes to the IBC;
Code Application Q&A; and
Self-study sessions from the IBC Study Companion.

This App allows the user to access the egress provisions in all of these documents directly or to search all of the documents by topic. For example, the topic search for stairways will bring up the related information from the code,commentary, code opinion Q&As, Significant Changes and the study companion. Also included are four quizzes that grade themselves and even allow you to e-mail the result s!
Individual pages as well as calculations from the App can be both printed and e-mailed, as well as saved to favorites.
