AudioBible is an application that will let you listen to the full unabridged audio of the King James Version of the Bible streamed on-demand to your iPhone or iPod Touch whenever you are in WiFi, 3G, or Edge coverage areas (WiFi only for iPod Touch). The entire contents of the Old and New Testaments are available for you to listen to instantly without taking up any space on your iPhone or iPod Touch.

**Note Version 2.0 of AudioBible adds the most requested feature mentioned in the reviews below, the ability to play chapters continuously in the background.

Audio is streamed from the excellent readings of the KJV Bible available from the LDS Church's website.

Features:
o Excellent narrators makes listening to the scriptures a pleasure.

o Playback starts within seconds of selecting the desired chapter.
o You can choose to have the audio played in AudioBible itself or handed-off to Safari's built-in Quicktime Player. If you choose to play in Safari, the chapter plays in the background so you can launch certain other applications or read your email while you listen.
o You can power-off screen during playback to save battery.

1. New background playback mode! Play audio from the scriptures in the background* while you do certain other things with your device.

* For devices with iOS3.2 and prior. New playback mode plays selected audio using the Safari web browser which will let you other things with your device while the audio continues to play such as checking your email or viewing your calendar. Full background playback mode with iOS4.0 devices is in development.
