I used Backup Assistant with my LG Chocolate 3 to backup my contact list.
Then I activated my new 4S and download the VZ Contact Transfer app.
I followed the directions and it worked perfectly.
I hope all the other iphone apps work this well!!

I switched from a blackberry to the iPhone 4s and all of my contacts transferred over. Before you activate your new phone make sure all of your contacts were backed up and uploaded to your myverizon account.
