Writing your novel, story, or poem can be daunting. Novel 140 removes the intimidation factor of the blank page by letting you compose your writing project as a series of 140 character entries. These entries can be published directly to Twitter, where your followers can read your project as it's written.

With Novel 140, you can add a new sentence or two to your project any time your mobile device is handy. By writing 140 character entries just five times a day, you can finish a novella in a year, and shorter format works can be written much more quickly.

The microblogged or 'twitter' novel, a format of fiction writing that uses Twitter or a similar website for serialization, is rising in popularity. Famous authors, such as David Mitchell, who wrote “Cloud Atlas”, are now using Twitter as a publishing platform.
