Great app!! (4 stars)
I love this app. I love that it's like using a DSLR. I REALLY love the way the manual focus works (i.e., how it zooms in to show you what it's focusing on). There are two things that I don't like, though: how you can't delete photos within the app, and how the shutter speed doesn't go slower than 0.5 seconds. I would like to see that, as well as a bulb option. Otherwise, great application!! I highly recommend it.
Almost perfect for concerts and sports (4 stars)
I have used Manual Camera mostly to take photos at concerts and at my son's lacrosse games. Being able to manually control ISO and exposure is the only way to keep the performs from being washed out. However the auto-focus (AF) is a bit twitchy in these situations and the manual focus is too hard to fine tune. To get 5 stars, this app needs an auto-focus lock.
Yet another almost useless photo ap (2 stars)
At least on an iPhone or iPod Touch, the manual features are almost useless. For instance…the manual focus is impossible to see. Even the "so called" zoom does not let you see details well enough to focus manually. In fact, if you zoom in to the max (3x), and then attempt to use the manual focus, it actually ZOOMS OUT in the focus window!! Totally useless. Accept it. Your iPhone/iPod camera has limitations, and no app is going to
