ABOUT THE APP
I'm not a professional photographer, I'm a photography enthusiast who has used all the popular photo editing apps and felt they all came up short in different ways. I spent a year and a half designing and building Filters and worked directly with professional artists, painters and photographers from around the world to put together a single app with an incredible array of tools and amazing filters that no other app in the App Store has. Streamlined and Efficient (5 stars)
Not only is the app beautiful and a joy to use, but it does an incredible job at exposing a vast array of filter options in a convenient manner by letting you scroll through 100's of filter options by seeing thumbnail previews of them all.

Has great potential. (3 stars)
Live preview of effects is a refreshing change. BUT it desperately needs an "undo last step button". Currently only has a reset button. Also light leaks and color overlays would benefit from the ability to rotate and flip their direction. Filters, light leaks, and color overlays would also benefit from blend mode settings which are found in most major filter apps. Until these features are added, I will continue using Pixlr Exp

Nice app, mediocre output resolution (3 stars)
The app is well designed, has a simple to understand interface, and plenty of effects for $1 investment. Aside from not having an undo button, my major complaint is the mediocre output resolution. The app saves files to a maximum of 3000 pixels on the long side, for about 6mp, or 3000×3000 if you have square images for 9mp. It really needs to be higher, at least up to the hardware limitation of 4096x for 11mp. Otherwise it is a good offe
