I had a question for the developer so I emailed tech support and they got back to me right away. Turns out this is a very useful app and well worth it. I've been controlling my apartments music from the iPhone in my pocket without having to walk over to the iPad that is playing the music. You need Tango Remote Media Player HD to remotely control the all of the music on your iPod, iPhone, iPod touch or iPad. Review a queue of upcoming songs, select a playlist or create a new one, on the fly and over the air. Skip ahead, jump back or find that perfect track, all from the device in your pocket.

Use any two iOS devices: iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad in any combination. Just make sure that both have Tango installed and are on the same Wi-Fi network. Bluetooth connections are also supported.

Video support makes Tango Remote a great alternative to Apple TV and AirPlay. Streaming video to an Apple TV via Wi-Fi can be slow and erratic. NOTE: Tango does not currently support iTunes Home Sharing. Excellent $5.00 alternative to buying a $95.00 airport express. I just leave my old iPod docked with my stereo and I can control everything I need.

This is a great app, does exactly as advertised. No more having to get up from the couch to change video. I only give it four stars instead of five because it doesn't let you pull up pictures from your photos even though it can pull up videos from the photo album
