NOT for beginners (2 stars)
The description claims this app will teach you to play even if you have never touched a guitar before. Is is untrue. The very first lesson starts by throwing around jargon, and even explicitly states that it will not teach you how to do the basic — "hopefully you have that already." Very disappointing for a beginner. Might be OK for more experienced guitarists though.

I'm a fan (5 stars)
Perhaps this particular app wasn't designed for fledglings who have just picked up the instrument for the first time (they should direct their attention to the Beginners Guitar Lessons app), but it is a terrific app for that middle-of-the-road types who really want to expand their knowledge and capabilities with then guitar.

I think even the most advanced players wouldn't mind at least brushing up on some of the lessons you'll find
