With AmpliTube youll have an entire guitar/bass rig at your fingertips. Just like a traditional live setup, you get 3 stompbox effects running into an amp-head with effects plus cabinet and a microphone. Choose from 11 built-in stompbox effects (delay, fuzz, overdrive, wah, envelope filter, chorus, flanger, phaser, octave, noise filter + distortion once registered), 5 amps (clean, crunch, lead, metal, bass) with full controls, 5 speaker cabinets and 2 microphones (dynamic and condenser). Plus you can expand your rig la carte with 5 additional effects – compressor, reverb, parametric EQ, graphic EQ and limiter suitable for other instruments and vocals – as well as add the entire suite of 5 amps and 5 effects of AmpliTube Fender plus 5 effects from VocaLive (Choir, Morph, Pitch Fix, Doubler and De-Esser) available via in-app purchase. AmpliTube has an enhanced preset system to easily and efficiently manage your sounds.

Capture your ideas quickly by recording your performances with the built-in recorder featuring re-amping capabilities, then share your track by exporting high quality audio files or M4As. Re-amping is the ability to change the sound and tone of your original recording by applying a different set of effects settings. You can record your track, then go back and completely change the sound without having to re-play it. You can expand the included recorder to a full professional multitrack studio by adding the 8 tracks recorder plus master effects section (available as in-app purchase), to record your band or produce full songs directly in AmpliTube.

Play along with songs or backing tracks by importing them directly from your iPod library in your device or from your computer. AmpliTube also features our popular SpeedTrainer learning/practice feature which can slow down or speed up the tempo of audio material without affecting pitch. A digital chromatic tuner and metronome are also included.

Disappointing (2 stars)
I'm a bass player. I brought home an iRig to try it out with my axes. I used the free version of Amplitube but was frustrated because the only amp model it came with was "Lead." So I forked over 20 bucks so I could have the "Clean" amp model.

I hooked up my MusicMan Bongo 6-string, followed the suggestions to put the iPhone in Airplane Mode and killed all other running applications. The sound was okay for hi

When watching the promo video on ikmultimedias site, I said to myself, wow, this is a no brainier , all the pedals, amps and speakers? And a four track? Never mind the free or le version, let me at the full version! But then after buying the full version I felt dupped when I realized how many pedals I had to buy for an extra $2.99 or so, and that it came with a one track recorder , oops another $4.99 to get the other three tracks, and oops,

Rip off (1 star)
I had the free version and bought the four track recorder. I got the real version and lost the four track recorder. I refuse to pay for it twice. Don't buy it, or anything else from them. If I could give it zero stars I would.
