Spend Free is the free version of Spend, a simple, easy to use budget manager.

Keep track of your money with Spend, a quick and easy-to-use personal budget tracker. Create daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly budgets in categories that you define [Lite version limited to 5 weekly budgets], and enter new expenses in seconds with a few touches of your finger. Spend travels with you on your iPhone or iPod Touch and does not require internet access, so you can enter your purchases before you even leave the mall or grocery store!

Spend is perfect for people who like to budget their money but don't want to bother with using a full-blown money management application.

You can also export your data to a CSV file, which can be opened in most spreadsheet applications including Excel and Numbers.

Spend supports the display of all international currencies that the iPhone and iPod support- just make sure your Region Format is set accordingly in the Settings app.

WARNING: IF YOU SET A PIN, YOU MUST REMEMBER IT. THERE IS NO WAY TO RECOVER A FORGOTTEN PASSWORD AND THE APP MUST BE DELETED AND RE-INSTALLED IN ORDER TO USE IT AGAIN (ALL DATA WILL BE LOST).

Use it every day. (4 stars)
It does crash a lot, and it doesn't have any reporting that I can understand, but it is simple to enter data and as you can export data to your pc, I don't need all the extra features. It's just right and allowed me to achieve my goal, which was to live within a budget and become more aware of my spending – all the other apps I tried didn't get me to that point. Thank you for developing it and giving it away for free.

Love this app, use it all the time!
I would love to see a sync feature so my wife and I can keep our checking account balanced at all times. I'd possible pay for an upgrade like that!
Other apps have this feature but I'm faithful to this app because it's so powerful yet sooooo easy to use! Most other budgeting apps are fairly complex. This one is pretty simplistic and straightforward! Add a sync feature and I think this app will des

Simple, effective, crashy (3 stars)
I love this app because it is simple a works. It's better than excel and portable so you remember to use it. I hate receipts. This app does need more instruction though and it's biggest flaw is how much it crashes.
