Q: Why only 48 signs?
A: As evidenced by some of the reviews, the lower number of signs came as a surprise to some users. We sincerely apologize if the positioning of the application was misinterpreted – it is not intended to be an ASL dictionary. The application and content are designed to cater to younger children and provide a foundational set of signs that they will use everyday. Younger children rely on repetition in their learning process and our intent was to build an application that will captivate and engage children while they learn a set of signs they will understand and enjoy. We highly recommend letting your children use the application for a couple of weeks and see if they are still as entertained by it as they were on the first day.

For 4.99 there should be a lot more signs for this price.

Only About 49 Signs (2 stars)
I was excited to buy this Ap and use as a dictionary for baby signs. I was very disappointed to spend $4.99 and only get about 49 signs. The Ap is very good on showing and organizing signs along with quizzes. But there aren't enough signs!

My 30 month old loves Signing Time and loves playing the app on my iPod touch! Great app!!! I would however love to see more music videos on this app.
