DescriptionThe DentaVid Pro Version is designed for dentists to use in their dental practice. This Ad free version includes a “continuous play” functionality for those practices that would like to have the videos play in their waiting room. Being afraid of going to the dentist is on every top ten list of things children are afraid of. Despite efforts made in the last few years to make children feel comfortable when visiting their dentist, there has been little effort made to prepare them prior to their visit. It is our goal with DentaVid to help children and their parents better prepare for visiting the dentist. These videos have been developed to be especially engaging for children between the ages of 4 to 10 years old. Together with dentists, child psychologists and children we have developed a series of short animated videos to explain to kids the different procedures they will be faced with at the dentist. Our videos included in this app are: The First Day at the Dentist Showing the DentaVid videos to children on a regular basis will desensitize them to their instinctive fears by informing them about what to expect. We feel strongly that children deserve the same quality of procedural information as is afforded to adult patients and encourage you to download and use this app in your practice.. In our childrens video series, Worried Wendy and Happy Henry put your children at ease by educating them and taking them on brief entertaining educational journeys to prepare them for their visits. The First Day at the Dentist, and How to Brush Your Teeth, or Preventive Dental Care for Kids set kids up to relax and actually enjoy the whole experience by giving them information about what is about to happen to them. These videos empower them.
