Follow Bear's story as he experiences different emotions during typical everyday childhood activities and situations. The Rainbow Feelings Bear also turns different colours and has different facial expressions to help children learn these emotions more effectively.

This application was written and developed by Australian Speech Pathologist, Alana Noakes, to fill a gap within the iPad application market for comprehensive and research-based early language development applications.

This application supports advanced comprehension (including; describing, predicting, inferencing, providing a solution to a problem, justifying and explaining), emotion learning, theory of mind development and colour knowledge development.

Have fun working through the interactive comprehension learning levels with your child. The learning levels are as follows;

Level 1 (Describing)
'What is Bear doing?'

Level 2 (Inferencing or Role play)
'What could Bear say?'

Level 3 (Predicting)
'What could happen next?'

Level 4 (Providing a solution to a problem)
'What should Bear do now?'

Level 5: (Justifying)
'How do you think Bear is feeling?'

Level 6: (Justifying or Explaining)
'Why is Bear is feeling X?'

Level 7 (Explaining or Self awareness)
'What makes you feel X?'
