Description

This program helps learners of English, improve their English vocabulary. It provides them extensive vocabulary acquisition and vocabulary enrichment exercises. It utilizes the Integrated skills approach to the teaching of English vocabulary.

The lesson data and the exercise types stress writing, reading and speaking (pronunciation) skills.

Exercise types include Fill-In the blanks (Cloze), multiple choice, and listen and speak oral pronunciation exercises of listen, pronounce and compare type.

The lesson data topics include: English alphabet, Colors, Nationalities, Numbers, Ordinal numbers, Time, Word association, Synonyms, Antonyms, English proverbs, English common terms, and Homonyms. Collectively the above lesson data topics provide about 800 exercises, for the student to practice with.

Students are given instant context sensitive feedback after each answer. The student is also given recognition for partially correct answers and given the opportunity to improve their answer. There is also Helpful Hints and Score keeping.
