The idea of Bass Chords and Scales originated back in 1986 before my days of teaching and application development. I found myself drawing fretboards for every possible note pattern I could dream up. I ended up with a 4 inch binder full of fretboard patterns. I used this book for the years to follow learning interval relationships, positioning and teaching. Some 20+ years later while trying to learn different tuning and and other string instruments I developed the first version of Bass Chords and Scales, to save a lot of trees.
