HT Professional Recorder makes it possible to record conversations throughout a large room, even in situations where the people talking are located several feet away from the phone. Reinforces soft voices – even whispers – Ideal for college lectures, board meetings, and conferences, as well as dictation. Automatically skips silence during recording.

E-mail recordings as attachments, up to 1 hour long (30 minutes on older iPhones).

Bookmarking feature makes it easy to remember and replay important moments. Overwrite capability makes it easy to correct dictation.

This is the recorder to get if you care how things sound when recorded at a distance. Signal processing algorithms capture conversations throughout a room, recording both near and distant voices clearly.

Transfer recordings up to 30 minutes in length via E-mail, and recordings up to 15 hours in length via WiFi using your computer's web browser or via an FTP server.

Note: Use on iPod Touch 2nd Generation requires external earbud microphone accessory. iPhone will not record during cellular phone calls. Ability to record or playback in the background while running other tasks (such as note-taking) requires iOS4 on an iPhone 3GS or iPhone 4. File transfer via USB cable requires iOS 3.2.2 or later.

Good could be great (4 stars)
Generally a reliable app however it does seem to stop recording without warning on iPhone. An app like this really should have an option to encrypt files. As such this is NOT a great app. But it is very good and I have nothing better, yet.

Best app (5 stars)
Of the 5 different recording apps I tested, this app performed the best at pulling in sounds from a distance. It is also feature packed and an obvious amount of effort went into the layout and ease of use. Well done.

Still Brilliant (4 stars)
I bought this app several months ago to use at my work meetings. It has not disappointed me once. The interface is intuitive and cool. Bookmarking is easy and sliding back or forth is simple. However the best part is its recording quality. It's smart enough to adjust according to the surrounding and also configurable for meetings vs one-on one conversations.
