If you're like me, at least once you've wanted to start a private conversation with another instagramer, clicked every button on the interface and couldn't find how. Why? because it's not possible. But don't worry.

instaDM allows you to chat privately with other instagram users.

A full featured chat client that works out of the box (or App Store should I say?) with your instagr.am username and password. You can start chatting with any user on instaDM in less than 1 minute.

Q: When will it be available for android?
A: Soon, in the meantime they can use http://app.insta.dm/

Q: How can I tell which friends have instaDM?
A: When you're adding a contact the button should read 'Add'. Else you have to invite her/him.

Q: Why do I have to add each friend individually?
A: Because we're dumb, the experience will improve on the next update.

Q: Why does the message I've sent says 'pending'?
A: Because the receiver doesn't have instaDM installed. You should invite him/her first.

Q: Why do you ask for donations?
A: The money is used to pay for services needed to keep instaDM running. And food for developers.
